Things to know

The following information contains everything you need to make your experience with us excellent, and be prepared before your arrival at Casa UwU.

POINTS TO CONSIDER:

  • Remember that Casa UwU is located on an island! (Click to see the route to our accommodation).
  • Virgin area, please respect Mother Nature. We must respect and honor it.
  • You will live a totally immersive experience with nature and it's entirety.
  • Casa UwU fully respects all living beings on the island, so please do the same and do not hurt them.
  • The road to Casa UwU is an adventurous experience, keep that in mind.
  • The weather forecast does not depend on Casa UwU, but on Pachamama.
  • Casa UwU, being located on an island, may present electrical problems that unfortunately are out of our hands. We ask for patience.
  • It is not allowed to enter the pool with body chemicals.
  • There are no ATMs in the area, so it is recommended to carry cash. Electrical failures may occur when being on an island.
  • Bring at least one pair of closed-toed shoes.
  • Bring sunscreen, preferably organic or natural products.
  • Bring mosquito repellent (very important).
  • Bring a light sweatshirt or hoodie.

And last but not least:

Arrive with a clear, relaxed mind and with an open heart to be in contact with nature and the wonders of Chacahua!
  • Campfires are NOT allowed.
  • Parties are NOT allowed.
  • Children are NOT accepted (Hotel exclusively for adults).
  • It is NOT allowed to bring food or drinks.
  • Registered guests must sign a response through a form. (Required before Check-in).
  • Check-in is at 14:00 p.m.
  • If "Shuttle service" is required, reserve with prior notice. (Click here to see information).
  • It is recommended to carry cash, since there are no ATMs in the area.
  • Review all the information previously sent by Casa UwU.
  • It is recommended to check our "Checklist" beforehand.
  • You will need to fill out the form and sign it prior to Check-in.
  • Check-out is at 12:00 p.m.
  • Leave hats inside the villa.
  • Be sure to close all windows and doors.
  • Turn off the utilities (electricity, water, etc.).
  • If you liked staying with us, leave us a review on our platforms!

Due to hotel policies, we have various regulations that must be taken in advance:

SHUTTLE SERVICE:

  • If the guest requires the "Transportation Service", this must be scheduled with prior notice, a maximum of 1 day before arriving at the accommodation; or add it when booking.
  • To reserve the transportation service, an advance payment of $500MXN is required. (If the guest for any reason takes transportation outside the company, the advance payment will not be returned).
  • If the guest decides to take transportation on their own, Casa UwU will not be responsible for external situations beyond the control of the company.

BREAKFAST INCLUDED:

  • The "Breakfast included" benefit during the days of stay is valid only for 2 people.
  • "Extra people"do not have this benefit, and this will be at their own expense. It will be a la carte. Click here to see our menus!

CANCELLATIONS:

  • Flexible: The client can cancel the reservation for free up to 14 days before the arrival date. The client will have to pay the price of the first night if they cancel during the 14 days before the arrival date. If the client does not show up, he will have to pay the full reservation price.
  • Non-refundable: The client will have to pay the full price of the reservation if they cancel at any time.

DAMAGE TO ACCOMMODATION:

  • At the time of Check-in, the guest must cover damage insurance of $2,000 MXN.
  • This deposit will be received in: Cash.
  • The amount will be returned in full to the guest at check-out; ONLY, if it did not cause any damage to the property in general, such as: lost towels, missing hats and other types of service.

ENTRY OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:

  • The guest can bring in bottles, paying a corkage fee of $200MXN per bottle.
